We’ve all seen online reviews. Five stars for a great meal. One star because the coffee wasn’t hot enough. But have you ever stopped to wonder what would happen if our pets could leave reviews about us?
It might be both hilarious… and a little uncomfortable.
So, just for fun, let’s imagine what some of our four-legged family members might have to say.
πΆ Labrador β βββββ
“Excellent human. Throws tennis ball repeatedly, provides endless snacks, and always says I’m a ‘good boy’ even after I rolled in something unspeakable. Would happily adopt again.”
π± House Cat β βββββ
“Accommodation is warm and comfortable. Food quality is generally acceptable. Staff member insists on disturbing my sleep with unnecessary affection. Has still not learned that my food bowl is empty when I can see even one biscuit.”
πΆ Border Collie β βββββ
“Human has potential but lacks stamina. After only two hours at the park they claimed to be ‘exhausted’. Clearly needs more training.”
πΉ Hamster β βββββ
“Lovely accommodation. Wheel runs smoothly. Human keeps commenting that I sleep all day and run all night. That’s literally my job.”
π° Rabbit β βββββ
“Garden is excellent. However, every time I create beautiful modern art using strategically placed holes in the lawn, the human seems strangely upset.”
πΆ Beagle β βββββ
“Outstanding sniffing opportunities on every walk. Human frequently says ‘Leave it!’ I choose to interpret this as gentle encouragement.”
π± Senior Cat β βββββ
“Human understands that breakfast should be served promptly at 5:17 a.m. every morning. Additional shouting is occasionally required as a reminder.”
π¦ Parrot β βββββ
“Excellent entertainment value. Human accidentally taught me to imitate the smoke alarm. I regret nothing.”
πΆ Dachshund β βββββ
“House contains stairs. I object.”
π± Kitten β βββββ
“Found mysterious object called toilet roll. Human was absolutely delighted that I redecorated the hallway with it.”
(Or at least that’s what I choose to believe.)
The One-Star Reviews
Not every pet would be so generousβ¦
πΆ Golden Retriever β βββββ
“Human said ‘walkies’ but actually meant ‘we’re just going to the vet.’ I feel betrayed.”
π± Cat β βββββ
“Purchased expensive cat bed. I prefer the cardboard box it arrived in.”
πΆ Spaniel β βββββ
“Human removed muddy paws before allowing me onto the sofa. This level of oppression cannot continue.”
πΆ Husky β βββββ
“Human said, ‘Be quiet.’ I sang the song of my people instead.”
Every Pet Has Their Own Personality
One of the joys of spending time with animals is discovering that every single one has a unique character.
Some dogs are comedians. Some cats are tiny dictators. Rabbits can be surprisingly mischievous, and even the smallest hamster seems capable of causing chaos when nobody is watching.
As a professional pet carer, I meet animals with wonderfully different personalities every week. Some greet me at the door as if I’ve been away for years. Others look at me as though I’m an inconvenience who has interrupted an important nap.
That’s part of what makes the job so enjoyableβno two days are ever quite the same.
What Review Would Your Pet Leave?
So here’s the big question…
If your pet could leave an honest online review about you, what would it say?
Would they praise your excellent treat-giving skills?
Complain that dinner was served 37 seconds late?
Or mention that you have an unfortunate habit of singing to them when nobody else is listening?
I’d love to hear your funniest ideas, so leave a comment and let us know what your dog, cat, rabbit or other pet would write.
Who knows… you might even earn a well-deserved five-star review.

Have a wonderful week … and remember, your pets are probably judging you far less than they’re judging your treat selection! πΎ
