This page is designed to answer common questions from pet care businesses about PetProHub and how the platform works.
1. What is PetProHub?
PetProHub is a UK pet services listings directory designed to help pet owners find trusted, professional pet care providers. It is not a booking platform, which means we don’t charge commissions or take fees on bookings.
I just charge a monthly subscription, which is free for six months, which only starts once your listing goes live, for the first 50 businesses to list. After the first 50 businesses have listed, the standard subscription of £10.00 per month will apply to all new listings, and to the first 50 listings once the six months has expired.
PetProHub stand out by focusing solely on pet-related businesses, offering curated, category-specific listings, verified providers, and tailored search—unlike broad platforms like Google or Yelp, which lack niche relevance and industry-specific features.
Registered business subscribers can manage their own profile, and create, submit, and edit their own business listing. Or, I can create and edit a listing on their behalf
2. How is this different from searching on Google or Social Media?
It’s too easy for small independent businesses to get lost on these massive platforms, and general search engines return a wide mix of results, including unverified providers, informal services, and irrelevant results.
PetProHub is focused specifically on professional, established pet-related businesses, helping pet owners find relevant, reliable providers more easily and quickly.
3. What are PetProHubs benefits over other well-known pet-related platforms?
Unlike platforms like Rover, Tailster, and Cat In A Flat, where bookings and payments must go through their platforms. PetProHub works differently by not charging any commission, just a monthly subscription to list
On those platforms, the client that’s booked your service has to pay that platform first. They then subtract a commission of around 20%, Leaving your business out of pocket on every single booking. And in many cases, leaving your pet business waiting to receive your money, which is terrible for your cash flow. The platforms may also have covenants that try to restrict pet businesses from being able to work directly with that same client again from outside their platform.
PetProHub offers a simpler, fairer approach.
Businesses listing on PetProHub retain full control over bookings and payments, and, just pay a straightforward monthly subscription to be listed, and can cancel or pause their subscription at any time, with no penalties. So in essence, PetProHub lets you stay in full control of your business:

5. What type of pet businesses can join and list on PetProHub?
PetProHub is open to all professional pet care businesses, including:
Dog walkers (group walkers, and solo walkers)
Cat sitters and dog sitters
Dog groomers and cat groomers
Dog trainers and behaviourists
Fully Licensed and local authority checked boarding providers (home boarding, kennels, catteries)
Other pet-related businesses
6. How much will it cost to list my business?
£10.00 per month after the opening offer period for a monthly recurring subscription, free for the first thirty days. PetProHub is a genuine monthly subscription, which you can pause or cancel at any time.
7. What do I get with a listing?
A listing includes:
Your business name, and experience
The services you offer, and a description of your business
Contact details
Website and social links
Geo Location search and areas covered
Up to eight images to really showcase your business
8. Does my business need to be licensed to join and list?
Not unless the services you offer require a licence to operate from your local authority
This includes services like home boarding, kennels, catteries, and pet daycare facilities, all of which must comply with the
Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. and must be licensed and inspected regularly by their local authority
PetProHub aims to promote awareness of these important requirements.to the public, which many are unaware of, so can easily be caught out by unscrupulous operators.
9. How will customers find my business with this platform?
PetProHub will be promoted through a combination of targeted local marketing via local community, and business Facebook groups, search engine visibility, and direct outreach to both pet owners and pet-related businesses through email and word of mouth. As the platform grows, the focus is on building steady, local visibility for listed businesses rather than relying on paid advertising or commission-based bookings.

10. Who runs PetProHub?
PetProHub has been created and run by Steve Frost, who started and runs Tcpetcare, an established pet care business in Coventry that’s been operating since 2019. Both businesses are operated as independent entities under the official name Tcpetcare (Group) Ltd
The platform was built with Steve’s insider industry knowledge and has a clear focus on professional standards and industry understanding
11. Can I cancel my payable subscription, and what happens if I cancel?
You can cancel or pause your PetProHub subscription at any time.
Once cancelled or paused, your listing will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After that, it will be removed from the platform, with you having the option of re-subscribing and relisting at any time We don’t hold you to long-term contracts or charge cancellation fees. PetProHub is designed to be flexible, allowing businesses to join and leave as needed.
If you do choose to return in the future, the availability of features or pricing may differ depending on the stage of the platform.
The aim is to make PetProHub a valuable and flexible platform that businesses choose to remain part of, rather than feel obliged to stay.
